Around Level 50 Hunting

Timing different hunting methods at around 53 hunting and found the best method was different to several of the guides (all timed using lurparia set)

Prickly Kebbits: approx 30k XP an hour
Falcony: 34k an hour
Chin Comps: 29k XP an hour
Orange Salamanders: 42k XP per hour

The clear winner was orange salamanders. This is the best way to train up to level 60. You will need to stock up on waterskins to survive in the desert.

Now I am around level 60 I found normal Chins great XP. To begin with at lvl 53 they spring your traps too often. The secret sauce to catching them for giant XP is:

- Get to level 60 when u can set 4 traps
- Set up your traps around one of the chin respawn points
- One trap north, one west, one east and one south
- Carry a bow
- If the chin escapes past your traps then shoot it. it will quickly respawn right in the middle of your traps again

Looking to level a few past 63 so I can consistently catch red chins. Given they are worth 600-700 gp each expect to train on them regardless of speed from now on.

Have now timed normal chins at lvl 64 = 48/50k and hour using the method above. So the best XP going. As soon as I can consistently catch red chins will move to them.

i might want to buy some chins when i get mooney again so if u have some what are ur prices

Sorry dude - I'll be using them to get to 99 range. I need 16k more chins. 8k will come from hunting to level 83 (for catching dragon imps).

They are 600-700ea. Merchants buy for 500ea in world 2 - you could try getting a bargain. If you post on forum offering 650ea you will get plenty of replies within 10/20 mins.
